Zen Garden Update

When the school received a legacy from an old boy, (in fact the first Head Boy to be appointed when the school moved to Bury in the 1960s), it was decided to put this towards a permanent feature which could be enjoyed by the children every day.  The idea of a Zen Garden – a peaceful spot for reading or chatting at break time, was born.  Plans were drawn up by Mark Payne from markpaynelandscapedesign.co.uk    and thanks to a generous gift from the Parents’ Association, a truck load of plants arrived and the garden is now a mass of green with waving grass adding movement.
