‘Troy:Myth and Reality’

Some chose the wounded Achilles as their favourite artefact, others the silver cup excavated from a chieftain’s grave in Denmark depicting a poignant scene of the elderly defeated King of Troy. In this, Mrs Telfer’s personal favourite, Priam kisses the hand of the vanquisher, Achilles, and pleads for the return of his son, Hector’s body for a dignified burial.
